1. Who we are
EvoChain ("EvoChain", "we", "us") is free, non-commercial supply chain planning software created by Vlad Lingurariu. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you visit evochain.pro, contact us, or use the EvoChain application at app.evochain.pro. 2. The short version
- We never sell your data.
- Everything your business uploads to EvoChain remains your business's property.
- We only collect what we need to run the website and the Service and to answer your messages.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you allow them in the cookie banner.
3. Information we collect
- When you visit the website: if you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location and how you found the site.
- When you contact us: your first and last name, work email address, company name, the topic you choose and your message.
- When you create an EvoChain account: your business email address and the details you provide when registering, plus login and usage information needed to keep your account secure.
- Business data you upload: for example sales history, inventory and product data. This data belongs to your business and is used only to provide the Service to you (see our Terms of Use).
4. How we use your information
- to answer your messages and questions;
- to create and manage your account and provide the Service;
- to check that accounts meet our eligibility requirements;
- to understand how the website is used and improve it (only with your consent);
- to keep the website and the Service secure; and
- to meet our legal obligations.
5. Our legal bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on:
- Consent for analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw it at any time (see Cookies).
- Performance of a contract to provide your EvoChain account and the Service under our Terms of Use.
- Legitimate interests to answer your messages and keep the website and the Service secure.
- Legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
6. Who we share information with
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers that help us run EvoChain, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Google Analytics (Google), to measure website usage, if you allow analytics cookies;
- FormSubmit, which delivers messages sent through our contact form to our inbox; and
- Our cloud hosting providers, which host the website, the application and the data stored in it.
We may also disclose information if required by law. Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
7. How long we keep information
- Contact messages: for as long as needed to answer and follow up on your request.
- Account and uploaded data: for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data or close your account at any time.
- Analytics data: according to our Google Analytics data retention settings.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive a copy of it in a portable format; and
- withdraw your consent at any time.

10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Business data uploaded to EvoChain is stored in the cloud on a secure, segregated layer that keeps each business's data separate. No system is completely secure, so please keep your login details safe.
11. Children
EvoChain is a service for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
